Copenhagen is one of the most underestimated cities in the world. Tucked away you won’t find the name Copenhagen in lights anywhere, but in my list it’s one of my favorites cities I have ever visited. In July the weather was perfectly warm but not blistering hot. The city is small enough to walk almost completely but it has a modern big city feels.
Start at the harbor and make sure to get a picture with the little mermaid stature, an ode to Hans Christensen and very popular with tourists. Enjoy a stroll along the ideal spotless parks lining the city.
You can find wild swans swimming amongst the small boats docked at the harbor. Jump on an ultra modern electric bike fitted with a GPS or foot it to the main city centres.
Follow the main street and spend the day popping in and out of shops. The city has a vibe that cannot be explained. There is music in the streets, street performers performing recitals on the sidewalk and the people walking the streets are beautiful.
Copenhagen is not a city to be missed.
